An excellent site. I am looking for information about John Manson, said to have been born at St Keverne about 1809, later emigrated to Texas. Thanks for the outstanding presentation.

Excellent site. Thanks for all your hard work. I am interested as my Gt Grandmother was called Susan Mary Troon. Her mother was a Rogers who married Rev Troon, later to become a Customs Officer in London. She died in what we think may have been the plague and her daughter, Susan Mary came back to Cornwall and lived with her Grandmother Rogers at "Rosemorder". Susan Mary married Richard Lawrance and lived at Trethewey, St Martin. She had brother's and one was called Sampson who went to America (I think) and who built up a very successful hollow (hide) and tallow business. My mothers' uncles, Bert and John Lawrance, also went to America and stayed with Sampson Rogers whilst getting their feet on the ground before starting out on their own

Very interesting site! I have family who originated from St Keverne, the name is Lawrence. William Lawrence born before February 1799 at St Keverne married a Jane (Jenifer) Bryant at St Hilary in 1823. His parents are Michael Lawrence and Margaret Blamey. Anyone interest in this family please contact me. Thanks again for a great site

I am researching Rowe's from Tregarne Mill, can't find anything about the eldest son John born in 1809. It's a great site, I'll be back soon.
