Wish this site had been available 30 yrs. ago, when I started searching for Cuttances. I'm a descendant of Henry the Innkeeper who was press ganged and swam ashore.

I am a decendant of Captain William Gardiner who sunk the Glenbervie on the 13th of January 1902. Apparently he was on his way to South Africa at the time. All 22 crew managed to get off the ship including the ships cat! If anyone has anymore information about him please feel free to email me. I know that he was in Perth for a time as he had two sons one of which was born in Perth in 1854 - I think!

Very impressed with your website.
Found the death of Stephen Goodfellow a coastguard, in 1875 originally from Mylor. Do you have any Coastguard records or photos please?

Your photographs of shipwrecks are stunning. A great site which makes me wish my family were Cornish!

An exemplary site.
Every OPC should have one like this!
(and every parish should have OPCs like these).
