Researching BADGE surname on a world wide basis incl. those named BADGE who live in the New York State U.S.A. and those currently living in Germany. However I do not believe that theabove families are consanginious with my family originating principally in the West Country and thence migrated to U.S.A. (principally Michigan) and Australia. Many of my family made visits to Japan, Brazil, South Africa to assist in mining development as blacksmiths & enginemen etc. Walter BADGE at 3/37 Savoy Street, Port Macquarie NSW 2444 Australia. I am looking for any information about the Pengilly family, my great great great grandfather was a William Pengilly (born 1811) lived at Kugger according to census 1841 - his wife was Elizabeth Wray born 1821. I believe his fathers name was William Pengilly. In the 1861 census they were strays at Grade. I would like to get into contact with members of this family and to find out more about my ancestors. Nice site. I've arranged a setting of "St. Keverne's Feasting Song" (I've shortened the title to "St. Keverne's Feast") and thought I'd try to find some information about St. Keverne the person or the place. For any interested the piece is published by Lighthouse Music Publications. |

Brilliant website and resource. I'm tracing my Roberts ancestors who came from St Keverne. One was sent to Australia on the First Fleet in 1787. Bad boy. William Roberts, married to Mary Russell. Any relations reading this, please contact me. Keep up the good work - when will marriages be available online? |
